For many who travel the Camino to Santiago de Compostela, it
is a Christian pilgrimage to the shrine of St James (Sant Iago) in the city’s
cathedral. My inner journey on this adventure, as an atheist, will be to
remember my dad, sister and two nieces who I still miss and to whom I never had
the chance to say ‘good-bye’.
